Thank you so much....there are 14 of us going and this will save us so much time and I am not so anxious now that I know what our options are. Part of us are staying in the San Croce est area and the others at the Rialto bridge areas...so is it best to take two different types of transportation?

I hope you have not very much baggage with you in the Venice hotels. So, from San Croce and Rialto you can take the Line 1 vaporetto (or any other) for Piazzale Roma. Some steps upwards to the place. Maybe there is a shuttle to the cruise center. But is cheap to take a taxi (only some minutes). Regards Uwe
