Hello, we are also flying out the day before to Vancouver and we have book the Pan Pacific thru Princess. Due to this they let you stay until 2 in your room if you want, plus they will make sure your luggage gets to the ship. I know it's expensive, but it's right at the dock and easly to get to the ship. The rooms are very nice. I hope that this helps you a bit.

Bizzybee If you mean the Fairmont Vancouver then you are staying at a beautiful hotel right in the heart of downtown and in the middle of shopping and tourist attractions. You are only about 6 blocks from the cruise ship terminal so a short cab ride or a downhill walk if you don't have a lot of bags. The Fairmont is Vancouver's original luxury hotel that has been renovated many times and is usually the choice for visiting royalty and many other celebrities. Have a great stay.

Fairmont Vancouver is a lovely old hotel in the centre of the city. A grand old lady that has been beautifully renovated. The sister hotel the Fairmont Waterfront is (as you might guess) on the waterfront. It's newer hotel with a different feel but the most unbelieveable views across the harbour. Either location is fabulous . We live in Vancouver and recommend either to friends coming into town. Enjoy our beautiful city !

There is also the Fairmont Airport. Check the address to make sure it's the Fairmont Vancouver, which as others have said, is right downtown.
