Can someone please recommend a motel/hotel in Long Beach that is close to the Queen Mary, where the Carnival ship Pride leaves for Mexico? Looking for something that is not really expensive, but fairly decent, not in a bad part of town and close enough that they might have a shuttle. Just a place to sleep, shower and jump on the ship! Would really appreciate some advice! Thanks very much!
There is a Holiday Inn and a Motel 6 near downtown Long Beach. The Holiday Inn is on Atlantic Ave. and has a free shuttle. The Motel 6 is on Pacific Coast Highway, a little farther away and cheaper, but no shuttle. Either would be a good place to just sleep and shower. Hi, we are staying at the Queen Mary for our carnival cruise out of long beach in a few weeks. It is located right next to the carnival port. I got there rates and number from there website, and booked via phone. There is also a russian sub next to the QM, that you can tour. Hope this helps. Lil' Lori
