We've had breakfast there when we stay at the TropiRock which is two blocks down the street from there. I have wanted to try a room there, but usually go back to the TropiRock because of the owners-they're just so nice. It's an old hotel, but well kept. It is owned by a German couple and the food is good. Since we haven't been in the rooms, I can't help you there. It isn't close enough to the port to walk, but it isn't that far. There is a water taxi stop at Bahia Mar which isn't too far from the Sea Club. You can take the water taxi for $10/pp per day and it's a great way to see Ft. Lauderdale. You're right across the street from the beach. Hope this helps you a little.

I think I'll try them in December then. I really like the TropiRock, but free parking is great. The port keeps raising the parking rates.
