Can anyone recommend a taxi/cab/limo/minibus company for transfers from Cape Libery to the Hilton hotel at Penn Station. I can't find anything sensible.
There's only going to be 5 of us.

We're staying at the Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel. The hotel recommended the Green Cab (973-643-5826 or 4100) I was told cabs in Newark/and New Jersey for that matter are really expensive. They told us $35 for the 8 mile trip plus tip ($5) to Bayonne Pier. We have 4adults/plus luggage!!! Not sure if we'll fit in one cab or they'll send a larger car for the same price.
Another option- take the complimentary hotel shuttle back to airport and then take a cab from there- may be able to get a better price with more competition???
Bayonne City Yellow Cab (201-339-5000)said they'll have shuttles outside of the ship when we return to take us back to the airport at $14 pp. This is cheaper than the $25pp the ship charges. Hope this helps
