Im looking for some info on the port and a close hotel to the port. I want book my own flight and fly in a day early. Or should I use carnivals air on the same day?
Definitely fly in a day early. I'm not sure what hotels are still standing there. My coworker sailed out of there is October, he said the pier was in good shape. They spent mega bucks on getting it up and going. He spent the evening in Baton Rouge with some friends, so he didn't pay much attention to parking or hotels. He did bring pictures back from the French Quarter which looked like they were pretty much up and running again. Best wishes and have a wonderful cruise!

The last time I was on Costa, it was the Carla. She was an old ship, but it was a great cruise. I promise to post when I get back. I sure hope Costa is as much fun as it was the last time. This will be my 3rd Costa cruise, but it's been a good while since I've been on them. Happy Holidays!
