I know occasionally a question comes up about when to fly in. We always fly in a day early. This time it came in handy. We flew to Orlando with a 2 hour layover and a connecting flight to Ft lauderdale. Our flight out of Greensboro was perfect and everything was great until we were in the boarding hallway. The words- Wait a minute-

Apparently the long and short of it was that our pilot was MIA not sure why they said he had an accident and they couldn't locate him in the same sentence so not sure what happened but it took them 2 1/2 hours to find another pilot. This one just got home in Orlando and they recalled him. So we got to Ft Lauderdale over 3 hours late. ( and then waited another hour for our transfer) Which could have been a real downer if it was cruise day. Lucky for us we could take it in stride because we had that built into our "schedule"
