Our ship is docking in Venice - any suggestions on how to get to the city centre? Best most economical way?

Hi,
here you will find a map of Venice with the cruise ship port. You may take a shuttle bus to PIAZZALE ROMA. From there you can walk to S. marco or take the Vaporetto (water bus). Take line no. 1 for a nice trip from there to the Marcus Place (about one hour).
On this map you will have an overlook. On the left side is the Stazione Marittima (cruise port).
