I was wondering if anyone could help me find a hotel room in Galveston...not to much but not to cheap either....also in a very good location. Thanks

Try the Holiday Inn on Galveston Island. They have a shuttle to the cruise terminal. If you drive into Galveston, they may let you park in their lot for free if you stay with them before you go. Sorry I don;t have their phone number.

We stayed at LaQuinta Inn and Suites which is a ways west of Galveston. It's not fancy but extremely clean, has a great breakfast, and overlooks the beach. They will allow you to park there for the duration of the cruise but I think you will need to arrange for transportation so we chose to park elsewhere.
