My wife and I are taking our first cruise together, leaving out of Tampa in April on Caribbean. Anyone have recommendations for the best way to get from the airport to the pier? "Best" to us = relatively low cost but also relatively hassle free. Thanks!

Also, I assume there isn't a car rental pickup/drop off location at the pier, is there?

A little more information please, to give you the best information....are you flying in the day of or a day or two before ? Cruiseline info would be helpful too. Your question implies you may be renting a car, for the ride from the airport, or for getting around town ??
