We are flying down the night before, and are in search of a hotel in Fort Lauderdale. I think i've narrowed it down to the Ramada Inn and Holiday Inn Express, both have shuttles from the airport and cruiseport. Anyone ever stayed at these? We are trying to keep price around the $100 range.

Which Ramada Inn or Holiday Inn Express? Do you have an address? I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, so with an address I can give you a general idea of the area and the age of the hotel. There are some less expensive small motels off of Las Olas Boulevard that are old, but really cozy. Of course, you'd have cab fare that way which would end up costing close to the same rate.

It is the ramada inn airport/cruiseport. 2275 SR 84, zip code 33312. This is the hotel the group chose for the pric, hopefully it is not a dump.

Since you've already booked it, I posted to that thread. However, if you can undo it, the hotel that someone posted about at 2900 Belmar Street in Ft. Lauderdale would probably be a much better bet. It's close to the beach and not in the landing pattern for the airport. Have a great time.
