When I booked a cruise last year onboard the Carnival Triumph, I rented a car from Alamo one-way from Orlando to Miami. When I arrived at the Alamo facility near Miami International Airport (MIA), they provided free courtesy transportation (on one of their busses) to the Port of Miami. This worked-out perfect for me.

So, my question is:
Does Alamo (or any other car rental company) have the same free courtesy transportation at their facility near Ft. Lauderdale Airport (FLL) to Port Everglades?

I hope so, since if I plan to cruise this year, it will likely be on a Princess Cruise which will embark/disembark at Port Everglades (Ft. Lauderdale).

I believe Enterprise does, and, as I recall, you do not have to pay a one way drop off fee with Enterprise in Florida.

Hi Frase, the last time we rented a car in Ft. Lauderdale, we went through Enterprise and they did take us to the port without a charge. That was 3 years ago, however, we've been driving down since. Even with the parking, hotels, and food it's less expensive for us. But we're in north Alabama, not Florida.

Thank you, Penny3333. I will definetly look into Enterprise. I am not sure if they are located at Orlando International Airport (MCO). I will have to see. Once again, thanks.

The last two time I rented a car from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami, I used Thrifty. They did have free shuttle service to the port.
