Is there any kind of transportation from Hobby Airport in Houston to a Galveston hotel. We fly out on Dec the 16th and dont get into Houston until around 10 at night. Does anyone know of a cheap taxi or shuttle? Or any hotels that would pick us up? We need any informatios asap. We need to know if we need to cancel our airplane tickets.

I don't have any experience at this, so I just looked at some other folks who have done this recently. I will keep looking for other recommendations. Hobby is about an hours drive from the Galveston port.

Highly recommend that you rent a car at Hobby and turn it in the next day in Galveston. We used Enterprise and this worked very well (from the Galvseston pier to Hobby airport)

Another idea is to spend the night at a Hobby airport hotel and take a shuttle such as Galveston Limosine to the Galveston pier. It is about an hour- hour and 15 minutes from Hobby to Galveston.
