Has anyone done the cruise in Misty Fjords? We'e doing a helicopter/trek in Juneau, and wanted something different in Ketchinkan. What is your favorite excursion in Katchikan.

We're also booked for a horseback riding to Emerald Lake (I think Yukon). Any feedback from anyone?

Thanks!!

HI
I did the sea plane tour in Misty Fjords.
Awesome........
Good shopping in Ketchikan. Be sure to leave some time for that too.

Hi, I would highly recommend Misty Fjords National Park. We did a float plane tour of the park and loved it. Here is a link to the experience:

I would highly recommend Seawind Aviation for your tour. Have a great day in Ketchikan!

Thanks Sunprincess and Tom. Tom, I checked Seawind's web site, and they offer a 1.5 hour flight with a brief landing at $199 and through the ship, it's $220 for two hours. Would you know if it's with the same company and what the additional 30 minutes would offer?

Thanks

I don't believe that the cruise lines use Seawind, as they only have one aircraft and it is a family operation. Generally all of the flights into Misty Fjords do about the same thing and it just depends on the pilot and flying conditions. I would e-mail Seawind and ask them the same question and see what they say.

Thank you Tom! We are booked. I e-mailed them with a couple of questions, and within a few minutes Leslie responded. She was extremely nice, and explained many details that I had not thought about.

Thanks again!!
