I am fairly new to this digital stuff and address my questions to the people who have cruised Alaska and photographed the glaciers...

I have a digital camera, and am wondering if anyone had difficulty photographing the glaciers???

what tips can you give me for getting great results??

I haven't done it with a digital yet, but I did find it was hard to control the contrast. I'd suggest making sure you "read" the light by focusing on the glacier first, before actually taking the picture. Hope that will help!

A polaroid filter might also help. I am not a "photography expert" but I have had a lot of trial and error and know many things that don't work. I have had good luck with this however.
