Is there a particularly good or bad time to go on an Alaska cruise? I heard people talking about concerns about flies, but is it worse earlier in the season (e.g. May/June) or late in the season (Aug/Sept)?

Mosquitoes become a concern late in the season from what I've heard but I book a lot of Alaska sailings and it comes up very rarely.

Cheers, Neil

JULY! Great time to go! Few flies or skeeters, unless you go inland, where it could get somewhat annoying. Otherwise, fughet aboutit.
