Weather in Alaska is quite variable. Be prepared for anything from 40s and rain to 70s and sunshine (and anything in between). Dress in layers - that's the best way to handle it - and take rain gear. It's a fantastic place, whatever the weather!

I'll second the idea of dressing in layers.

Keep your winter clothes and coats at home.

Pack t-shirts, shirts, sweaters and a raincoat, or light coat like a windbreaker. That's all you should need to keep warm.

Layers is the KEY for Alaska.
Be sure to bring rain gear - umbrella, poncho/slicker.

Enjoy your cruise Smile
