If you are talking about the Ketchikan crab feast, you can also get there by boat. I know that Princess offers that as a shore excursion because I am booked on it.
Thank you, I have seen this excursion by boat, but we have one helicopter, one rail and one boat booked and I thought the seaplane would be a differenct experience.

If you read this before you reach Ketchikan--by all means, do the George Inlet Lodge crabfeast anyway you can. I got there by floatplane last month and can say it ranks as a Top 3 highlight of my 2 weeks in Alaska.
