Hi everyone. I was checking out the RCI Alaska ports. Some of them go to Hubbard Glacier. I am under the impression that Hubbard Glacier is not Glacier Bay. Am I correct. Has anyone been to Hubbard Glacier, any thoughts on it?? What do you like better Hubbard or Glacier Bay? Thanks for any info. Lil' Lori Cool

I actually like Hubbard Glacier better than Glacier Bay. Hubbard Glacier is overwhelming. I got a great shot of it from the Mercury a couple of weeks ago and will see if I can find it and post it here.

Cool shot Tom! Brings back memories of my cruise in June. L'il Lori - I have never been to Glacier Bay, so I can't make a comparison, but I must admit - Hubbard Glacier blew me away!

Hubbard Glacier rocks! I've been there two times and it was awesome! Can't compare with Glacier Bay though as I've never been there.

Hubbard offers some of the best calving in Alaska. You will hear and see massive calving. It is one of the things that makes Hubbard excellent.

I just tried downloading a couple of Hubbard Bay glacier pictures for this stream. Unfortunately, it looks like I just started a new stream. I guess I'm not one would call a technical marvel.

Anyway, if you want to look at a couple of glacier pictures, they're here somewhere. That being said, just came back from the Radiance last week. Weather was sunny in the 70's. Lots of calving. Probably the best cruise I've been on since I started cruising.

I keep adding to this. Below is the link to my Hubbard Bay Glacier pictures.

Now that I've done this once, I won't be fumbling around if I try to add pictures again. I've got tons of Alaska pictures if anyone is interested in any more.
