I am one step closer to my Alaska dream vacation! I got my passport yesterday. The lady at the passport office said it would be mid to late October (14-16 wks) before it arrived. But it came with in 6 wks. Yea!!! But hubby still does not have his and they were mailed at the same time. Now I only have to wait about 49 weeks to do the doc dance.

That's great! I also hope it's a sign that the situation may be easing up a bit.

We just renewed our passports and we had the new ones in less than three weeks! We were shocked.

Loucna2, I hope hubby's passport comes soon.

We are already counting the days until our Alaska cruise in May 2008. Having the passports in hand is a big relief.

Hello! I paid $65.00 per peassport do get it Rush, and it came in 2-1/2 weeks. WHEW!
