I am taking an Alaska cruise this summer and flying in and out of Seattle. Since I have a couple of extra days (and got a good deal on a car rental) I am driving to Vancouver. Can anyone tell me what kind of parking facilities are at the port and how much it will cost to leave my car. Thanks,
Shelley

Shelley,
Check out www.cruise-links.com. There is a "port parking" link that will provide you with the information you are looking for. Here is the direct link:

Just wanted to say thanks again for the parking tips. I am presently in Vancouver awaiting my cruise on the Infinity and it was nice to have the information that cruise-chat provided before this trip. I will post when I return.

Okay - between cruises and breathing a sigh of relief having dodged the hurricane bullet, so I thought I better report in as promised. The Alaska cruise was awesome. Tom,I loved the Infinity (as you said I would) and thoroughly enjoyed the ports. We did hit some rainy weather along the way - but it was what I expected. I fell in love with Vancouver and had great weather while I was there. Oh, by the way - I read PortReviews before I left and must agree - Burger Queen definitely wins the prize for best halibut. Thanks for all the tips Nancy and Tom - you guys are awesome!!!

So glad you enjoyed Alaska and the Infinity - she is a pretty awesome ship!

Since the weather wasn't all the great - what kind of excursions did you do?

We had Burger Queen Halibut and Chips a couple of weeks ago in Ketchikan and it was still as delicous as ever. What a great spot. BTW, thanks for the kind words. It is fun to stumble onto something exceptional.

I am glad you liked the Infinity and Alaska.
