As mentioned in Fritz's note, it was at the Newlywed Game which is something they do on most cruises. The ship has video cameras running at all of these events - both for legal reasons and for replay on the ship's TV system. I doubt they had to pay anything. Cruise Directors generally like doing this sort of thing so simply asking the CD to help set it up is all one would need to do.

Thanks Dave for the quick response....I realized it was during the Newlywed Game but I assumed that it was at an event like Casual Night or Formal Night Dinner (and the Newlywed Game was a game played during one of these events).
Or am I mixed up? lol

No games during dinner, regardless of the suggested dress for that evening. They will have the Newlywed Game in the main showroom usually, although I've seen it done in one of the other large lounges.
