I am sailing on the Mariner of the Sea on August 24, 2008 and will be staying in 8336. I was just wondering if this was a good stateroom with balcony or if anyone had any info. on this room. Also, will RC allow you to carry on soda and water?

Your cabin has a balcony. You should be able to carry on some water in your carry-on luggage, but your not suppose to.

Your stateroom is in a good location, just behind the hump, and close to the centrum. As for water and soda, you can bring a reasonable amount on board, just dont show up with a hand truck full and expect them to accomodate you. The only thing that is not allowed is alcohol. They will confiscate it if they find it in your luggage or carry on and they can refuse your embarkation without a refund. That is in the cruise contract.

Thanks guys, I was really hoping that I would get good news on the room. I was just wondering about the water and soda because my DH and I tend to get a bit thirsty in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning. Weird, I know.
