We have 3 adults in our cabin on the Freedom it is a D1 balcony room now a 4th person wants in is this okay for this ship or would it be awefully tight? We've already put down money for the 3 of us just wondering if a 4th would be too much??
It will be tight, but doable. A fourth person will be the same amount of money the third person was. Talk to the people you booked the cruise with. Some cabins won't allow a forth person.
Whether it is tight or not that 4th person should volunteer to sleep on the balcony or anywhere he or she fits, you are not in your room that much, well we arent usually...

Like Sonny pointed out, it may not have anything to do with "fitting" or not, the cabin you are in may not be designed to sleep 4. The 4 people cabins have pull down bearths. Check with your travel agent and find out before you say yes or no. If your cabin does not sleep 4, then the 4th may have to pay the "extra" to get you into a 4 person cabin if you want to go that route. If the ship does not have a 4 cabin availble, the only other option is moving your 3rd into a Cabin with the 4th but then the 3rd is going to end up paying full price.
