A little over a month and it's happy time! I believe I have everything in order, excursions pick, waivers signed, shows & restaurants booked, etc. My question is about the zip line that is a must do for myself and family. I had heard that once on board (first day/first hour) to registered/sign up right away down at the "On Air" club. Is this necessary to rush down there and sign up? Suggestions? Is the wait really that bad? Thanks in advance!!!
It was quite popular when I was aboard in December. I don't recall people having to sign up at the On Air club. They had sign-up booths up by the flowriders for all the things which require a waiver. Anyway I do remember that people were signing up one day for zip times the next day.
Not to diminish your enthusiasm, but it is a very short run and start to finish is maybe 20 seconds or so.

417Rogers, sure wish I was going with y'all. I am so excited for you! Even though it might only be 20 seconds, how many people can say the zip lined on a cruise ship I would imagine with that many people on board, lines would be long for everything popular.
20 seconds is stretching it .....maybe 10 at most. You can sign up at the zip line itself. After the first couple of days, there were practically no line at all.
However, I would suggest you get online and sign a release waiver. That will save you some time.

Thanks for the info everyone! I understand it's really short ...to me it's worth it...zip line on a cruise ship...pretty darn cool. All our waivers are already signed...I like being able to do it (waiver signing) prior to sailing. One less thing to worry about. If anyone else has any last minute tips for Oasis please comment.
Just have a great time. The Oasis is a wonderful ship. The technology onboard is fantastic. We really enjoyed our cruise on her...hope you do the same!

After 23 cruises, I would have to say the Oasis was our best cruise.....The ship is outstanding and the entertainment is over the top in enjoyment...I booked the zipline, but missed my time and never got another chance to go again...In January the zipline was a very popular thing to do....don't miss the parades on the Promanade deck...We will go on the Allure to give that ship a try....Nice going RCL...Happy Sailing....
