I just know I wont be able to do a cruise on any smaller of a ship!! It was beautiful and great to be on!!! It truly is the greatest ship in the world!!

Hi, I also cruised Freedom in June. I also prefer the bigger ships to the smaller ships. I am not one to relax too much, and hang out at the pool or a bar for too long. I like to constantly be doing activities, walking the decks, etc... I like the many options and activities of the bigger ships. I only can tolerate a smaller ship, if it is a short cruise. A perfect cruise is in the eye of the beholder. Lil' Lori
Yeah, we only relaxed when we had the time...we did the dolphin tour in Cozumel, and then the snorkel and stingray tour in Georgetown, and then snorkeling and Margaritaville in Montego Bay and then relaxed in Labadee...With 3 kids on the cruise with you, you are constantly busy!!!

We did put a dent in the 2,000 lobsters they had for Friday night, I had 3, my brother in law had 3, my father in law had 3, my wife had 2 and my 9yr old daughter had 2....man I was stuffed and that was after the 2 shrimp cocktails I had!!!

When the ship pulls up to the ports, which side is the best side to be on? We will be on the freedom on the right side, right in front of the bump. Just wondering if that will be good?
Thanks, Linda

I've got so many Q's but I'm trying to limit them. I was wondering though, when you are on the Freedom do you really get disorientated or can you find your way around it pretty easily? I will be the goof carrying a map everywhere I want to go probably

On the right side of the ship you will be facing the docks you load at, on the left side you will be looking at Miami...It was also enjoyable because one of the Carnival ships had to turn around and they floated right by us as we yelled that you are on the wrong ship!!!
And as far as being disoriented, I cant find my way out of a paper bag, but by every elevator they have deck plans of the ship and you can tell where everything is at. You shouldnt have any problems finding your way around.

Linda, I found I didn't have a problem on the Freedom, getting to where I wanted to go. My problem was remembering where all the various rooms are that I wanted to go to. Once you know or can find where you want to be, getting there is not a problem. You will learn quickly which is the front or back of the ship, which orients you to how to get where you're going.
Pepere....I dont really remember what that one was called, there were two were I went in Cozumel, and one you had to be 12yrs or older, so we had to do the other one since our 3 kids are under the age of 12...My wife diagrees with me, but for me it wasnt worth the price...It is memorable and fun dont get me wrong but I believe it is over $100/person and you get to kiss and dance with the dolphin, the other excursion I heard you actually get to hold on to the dolphin and go for a ride...I think the one we did would be more worthwhile $$$ wise if they included your pictures but that and the DVD is seperate.

I am glad you had a great time, we are going on the freedom at the end of the month. So tell me, I noticed you travelled with several children, what type of cabin did you get?
Well we actually had 2 cabins, one balcony stateroom and one inside cabin....My wife and I had the balcony and my brother in law had the inside, the inside cabin had two of the bunk beds and our cabin had one, so the kids kind of bounced between the two cabins
