Wow, Sonny, We finally made it to the Bridge Tour on Celebrity's Constellation this past cruise in Sept but no camara's, pocketbooks etc were allowed on the tour. It was fun and very interesting.

hi just a quick tip for those none diamond plus members. When you get on board write a letter to the captain stating it your aniversary or something like it. Then you should get an invite to the bridge. We did, we also got the pics to prove it. happy dance

Quick money saving tip is when your on a back to back cruise, in the first week buy a bottle of liquor off one of the islands then the night before the first week they deliver it to your stateroom. So you can use it for the second week.
I know its naughty put but hey we all have cut backs.

So let's see - lie to the Captain and violate the rules about alcohol. Not me.

Since the rules don't have exceptions based on the amount of money one charged to their account, yes, you would be violating the rule.

If everyone played by the rules (such as not smuggling alcohol) perhaps everyone would be able to pay a little less?

You wouldn't think so, but then this is how these things get abused. It should at least fall on that week of the cruise. Other wise, where do you draw the cut off? People would be abusing it celebrating months in advance, or past months. Then you would have so many people tying to get tours it would turn into a night mare. Those that would get a tour would complain there were too many people, it was too crowded. And those that couldn't get in would whine. Then you have something that was meant to be special turned into something not so special.

Because somewhere along the line it got side tracked from talking about just the charge for steaks to other charges. Since I think the steak question was answered I'll close this thread.
