I will be sailing on the Navigator of the Sea in Oct. The sail day is getting closer can hardly wait. I am looking for a clean room,
secure and cheap or reasonably price hotels or motels, $50 to $100, close to the
port of Miami. Can anyone give me some other suggestions or ideas?

Hi,

I haven't taken my first cruise yet but my first cruise is reserved on the 17th of April 2004.

I travel to Miami for business and I usually stay by the airport. You can take a cab from the hotel to the port very inexpensively.

Go to biddingfortravel.com and get yourself familiar with the miami lodging page. I had stayed at Wydham for $40 a night by the airport and I had stayed at Sofitel for $50 a night by the airport.

Email me if you have speicific questions.

We stayed at the Biscayne Bay Marriott on a cruise package for $119. per night. This included breakfast and 2 transfers to the port. We got 2 rooms for the four of us. Very very very nice deal and very nice, safe, hotel. Good luck!
