Really enjoyed your pictures - we are going on the Adventure next April. We were just on the Mariner in April and just loved it! Did you book your next cruise yet??! ~ Dawn

Dawn,

Thank you. Usually by this time, we would have already booked our next cruise, however, since I am moving next month and changing jobs (with the Air Force), I'm not sure when I will be able to take time off....Bottom line...we have to wait for another few months to book.

I just took another look at the pictures and realized that I didn't include that many of the ship, so I think I will update them today with more general ship pictures from our first trip.

Which itinerary are you taking? We always go to Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten and St. Thomas.

You will absolutely love the Adventure. She truly is a fantastic ship. There were almost 3700 passengers on board and we never had any trouble finding places to be alone on the ship. It never seemed crowded.

Take care,

Brad

Hi Brad,

I will watch for your pictures as I would love to see more. We are on the same itinerary that you took! On the Mariner, we took a Western Caribbean: Labadee, Haiti, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. We loved it! Can't wait to go on the Adventure. We felt the same way on the Mariner that you mentioned on the Adventure - so many people but yet it did not seem crowded.

From looking at your pictures, you must have stayed at the Marriot in San Juan. Would you recommend it? We have never been to Puerto Rico and are planning on flying in a day or two in advance.

Best of luck on your move and change of jobs.

Dawn

DAP,

Yes, I would highly recommend the San Juan Marriot. It is a beautiful hotel with lots of amenities, a great pool and beach and one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of dining at.

Enjoy your trip.

Thank you so very much for sharing your pictures. Your wife and you are a very handsome couple! I love the Christmas decorations, the gingerbread houses looked fantastic. We went to Palm Beach the last time we were in Aruba. It was a nice beach, good ammenities, no snorkeling though. She's a beautiful ship and you're a great photographer. I usually end up cutting heads off, or taking bunches of pictures of the water. Best wishes in your upcoming move, and hope to see you book your next cruise soon!
