My daughter (13) is excited about free room service. Could anyone comment on there service or what the menu is like. We are on the Sovereign of the Seas
Ahh---a girl after my heart!!!! Our family went on Sovereign about 2 years ago. Breakfast room service was pastry, bagels, etc with juice or coffee. Lunch was sandwiches as was dinner. It was available 24 hours a day. We had the late seating, and when we'd get back to the ship from the beach we'd order a couple of sandwiches and split them up so we wouldn't be total pigs at dinner! The cokes, etc are not free---but the room service menu is. We always tipped the server too. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful time. Look for Gianni--the maitre' d--he was wonderful.

We just got back from a week on Voyager of the Seas. Not sure if it's the same, but we really enjoyed the room service. All the food, juice, & coffee are free!
For breakfast, they have everything from continental breads/pastries, fruit plates, to amazing omelettes. Try the ham and cheese omelette. Scrambled eggs are no good anywhere on the ship- I don't think they use real eggs.
We would use room service as our alarm clock. They have menu sheets you can order from that you hang on your door knob 3am the night before. You fill in when you want them to deliver your breakfast in the morning and voila!
Also- tip these people at the time of service. Just a buck or two will do. Have fun!
