I'll be doing the last 3-day to Ensanada on Monarch of the Seas. Currently, I have a grand suite booked. I was wondering what your thoughts were regarding upgrading to an Owner's suite. It's $800 more total. I know the room is about 80 sq. ft. larger and the balcony is the same size as a GS. Part of me says grab it since this is the last 3-day cruise. The other part says save your money. You get the same stuff regardless of whether you are in a grand or owners suite.
Save your money and keep the GS. I've had both, grand and owner suites. I wouldn't through my money away on upgrading. $800 would fill my gas tank 8 times!
Right...save your money...plus it's only 3 days...the Monarch was the very first ship I cruised on....at the time, it was the largest ship out there.....Many cruises later, I'm still going strong....Happy cruising....
We just had an owners suite. Great cabin but if I had it to do over again I'd have taken a Grand Suite - still plenty of room and the savings would have covered the onboard charges and more. And I'd still get two cruise credits regardless of which of the two categories I was in.
