I have a reservation booked for next Feb on the Explore of the Seas out of New Jersey. I made this reservation right through Royal Caribbean. If I fine a better price or on board credits through another company, will I have a problem moving my reservation in order to take advantage of the lower price and on board credits. I know Disney people do this all the time with the Disney cruises. Just wondering if this can be done with Royal Caribbean cruises as well.
Thanks, Jean

Why not contact a cruise specialist and have them take over the booking? Then they will get any price reductions for you without your having to run around looking at various websites. RCI isn't going to let you move your booking around from place-to-place whenever you find someone else offering it for a lower price. Places offering OBC are selling group space, in which case you have to book the cruise through them and not move an existing booking to them. Price reductions are supposed to be uniform - meaning if you see your cruise price drop $100 on some website, that price is also offered by RCI to any other agent. Also note that some prices are available only for new bookings and cannot be applied to existing bookings.

Dave has excellent advice. If you decide to transfer your booking to a travel agent, there is a form that has to be filled out. I've done this several times without any problem. LOOK HERE

Thanks guys, I've heard about people doing this all the time on the Disney Cruises but never heard about this being done on any other cruise lines, so I knew I would get my question answered here on cruise-chat.

Thanks again
