I was doing a search on Ebay for stuff related to Royal Caribbean and Freedom of the Seas. I found mardi gras beads with pictures of the ship for sale. I was wondering if they give those to you on the Freedom or do you have to buy them? There are tons of "ship" stuff for sale on Ebay, very interesting!

Thanks,
Linda

Linda,
What I find interesting is that the ship was not officially "in service" during Mardi Gras 2006 so I doubt anyone on board would have been giving them out or selling them.

Perhaps in Feb, 2007 the ship might elect to do a Mardi Gras thing on board.

Yeah that is strange, unless they just sell them in the gift shops as a souvenir maybe.

When I was on the Voyager of The Seas in 2002 the theme of the parade down the Royal Promenade was Mardi Gras. I don't recall if they were throwing out beads. But to go along with the theme it would make sense that they would have. The beads may be from the Voyager.

The Freedom had a Mardi Gras parade when I was on it, that may be where they came from
