I don't know if it's ok for me to post this but its a general policy paragraph being widely distributed, not copywrited information...
Effective immediately there will be a new policy in effect for people traveling with infants and women who are pregnant for all Royal Caribbean International®, Celebrity® and Azamara sailings. Infants sailing on a cruise must be at least 6 months old as of the first day of the cruise/cruisetour. However, for Transatlantic, Transpacific, Hawaii, select South American cruises/cruisetours and other selected cruises/cruisetours, the infant (as of the first day of the cruise/cruisetour) must be at least 12 months old. Also, Azamara Cruises, Celebrity Cruises® and Royal Caribbean International® cannot accept guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy by the beginning of, or at any time during, the cruise or cruisetour.
I agree with you 100% but it's better than the old, no minimum age policy. And they've pushed the pregnancy rule out 1 add'l week from the old policy. Isn't the most dangerous time frame for pregnant women the first tri-mester? If that's true why is that the only time frame allowed on most cruiselines?
I cruised Jan 25 of 1994 and my youngest was born April 10. I tried to cancel--it was booked before I knew I would feel sick the entire 9 months! RCCL would not release us, even with a signed letter from my Dr. Times have changed! (by the way, we had a great time, everyone on staff bent over backwards to make sure I had everything I needed--more than they usually do! and I did get more nauseated than usual and the ship's doctor gave me a shot after letting me read his PDR on the medication that it was safe for pregnancy that had me feeling pretty great for the week!)

I am not sure if it is copyrighted or not. Sometimes paragraphs can be copyrighted under general copyright protections. A good rule of thumb regarding this if in doubt, is to put the information in your own words, or post a link to the information. Just wanted to pass along some friendly advice about it.
Getting back to the topic, CCL has had a very simular policy in place about pregnancy and infants for a long while. I agree with the good Dr. about making the age limit more than 6 months for infants. I don't know if this is true, or even legit about the pregnancy time frame. I read somewhere though that some of it had to do with births at sea, and citizenship concerns.
