Hi, don't mean to be such a dummy, but we're really confused about these regulations. I've seen tons about not bringing liquor aboard ship, but all the ports in the Caribbean seem to offer cheaper liquor to take home. Can, or can you not, bring bottles onboard to take home with you? How does this work? Thanks, wr're still learning... our cruise is Jan 18,2009 on IOS to Western Caribbean!
Hi cj1, you can purchase liquor in the islands to be brought home. What they will do when you reboard the ship is take the liquor, write your cabin number on it, and return it to your cabin on the last night of the cruise. Best wishes and hope you enjoy your cruise!
Just a quick question, let's say you buy alcohol and retrieve it to take home at end of the cruise. How do you take it on the airplane; since you cannot carry it on any more?
