One of our Moderators-Sonny V just did the Mystery Murder dinner on the Navigator. He just returned last night from a long overseas flight. I'm sure once he gets some rest he will catch up and be able to answer your question.

Hello!
There is an age restriction for portofinos where the mystery dinner is held. I know 13 is too young. We enjoyed the mystery dinner and think it was worth the $99 for the two of us. The price encludes the dinner—which was GREAT!

I have always avoided the Mystery Dinner, but now I am anxious to give it a try here pretty soon. Of course, I will be the one who drinks too much, stands up and yells, "It was Colonel Mustard with the knife in the conservatory." (much to my wife's chagrin) Are you going to post a more thorough review of the dinner, Sonny, or is it just something that has to be experienced first hand?

I have more pictures, but you really have to experience it for yourself. The myster theater dinner started out in the vicking lounge and move to Portofinos for the conclusion.

Do they employ a special group of actors for this or are they doing double duty from the Metropolis Theater?

I really don't know. It's probably another company.

We went to the Mystery Dinner Theater, while on the Brilliance in March. After looking at Sonny's pics, it looks as though they use the same show. Hey, Sonny!!

I believe they do have a age restriction. However, if your son looks like mine at 13 (6ft) and pretty mature, you might not have a problem. I would guess it would depend on the ship and the crew.

But the performers are the RCI Singers & Dancers. Ours were awesome and so funny!!

We went to the Murder Mystery in Orlando and had our 8 yo grandson and 14 yo nephew at the table. They loved it and the cast picked the 7yo to ask questions. They did not have an age restriction as they had both adult and childrens prices. Is the show on the ship any different? Which ships offer the Mystery dinner shows?
