Are there towels on board the boat? Do we need to bring towels from home for the excursions or do we just take them off the boat?

all the ships have towels available. Some ships keep careful tabs on them, some don't, but all have them available.

RCI checks them out by scanning your cruise card for tracking purposes. You then can go ashore with the towels or use by the pools. When you return the towels they scan your cruise card again to show you returned the towels. If towels are not returned they charge you $25 per towel.

So don't bother packing towels. I might add that the towels you check out to take ashore are nice size beach towels.

You know what I wanna know about towels (on cruises as well as hotels and resorts).

How in the HECK do they get them to have that spicy, cinammony bleachy smell.
