I read that article and wow, some people just don't know when to shut up!!! It sounds like they were playing a game to me. Well, they got caught and that is that. On the board that I am an assitant administrator on, I would not tolerate habitual complaining. Voice a complaint or problem is one thing but over and over is not allowed. And yes, we have been contacted by the manufacturer before to "take down" a post but it was usually a picture or discussion of something that had not been released to the public yet. There have also been a couple occaisions where they didn't agree with a post but we resolved it to everyone's satisfaction. So yes, this is not uncommon at all.

I applaud RCCL. As self employed heating/air conditioning contractors we function on a three strikes rule. If we are unable to make you happy (for WHATEVER reason) after the third interaction you are advised to contact another service provider. We have found through the years that a. most "dissatisfied" customers are angling for a discount, and b. like RCCL, we do most of what we do better than our competitors for a very competitive price. If we can't keep the customer happy, well good luck with the big impersonal vendors (our competition) 'cuz this is as good as it gets! We have a loyal customer referral base, and a wall full of letters of commendation from customers that bear this out.
