A married couple that will be cruising with us has some "jealousy" issues. Like if he looks at another woman she gets jealous, if she looks at another man he gets jealous, you get the idea. Anyway I was wondering about the shows on the ships. Are they full of the skimpy costume Vegas type showgirls? And what about this game called Quest? It sounds like fun. I have only heard bits & pieces though.
This is kind of an embarrassing question. I'm just curious on these things, because I know that it will no doubt create problems that I will have to "counsel" my friend about later.
Thanks yall, Linda

The shows vary, But it has been a long time since I actually saw a show on the ships like you are describing. However the shows vary depending on the cruise line and ship.
I was on the Monarch Of The Seas in April. They had the Quest. It was held late at night. Some of the things they requested involved people removing clothing. The Las Vegas revue shows can have skimpy outfits. However; what is skimpy to one person, may not be to another.
Thanks for your replies. I don't really care, because my family and I are going to have the time of our life regardless of whatever happens. I will just have to not attend the Quest show with my little boy it sounds like!

wesnlin, As Cruise Fanatic has already stated, "skimpy to one person, may not be to another". I have found that the Las Vegas style shows tend to show a lot of leg and a lot of skin, but none of them are "topless". Nancy
I just returned yesterday from our 5 night cruise via the Enchantment of the Sea. There were no shows that wore skimpy clothing. The dancers always seemed covered, they may show some belly button but not much else. My 12 year old son went to the shows and they were on our schedules as "family" shows. Hope this helps!
Wow, sorry to hear that you will be travelling on your cruise with people you will be tip-toeing on eggshells when it comes to male/female relationships. It's sad enough that they will be dealing with the jealousy issues, but I sure hate to see you worrying about their reactions to every little thing on your cruise.
It's great that you're willing to counsel them but I really don't think things will change until they feel good about who they are themselves.
Jealousy causes so much unnecessary pain. Please have a great trip and let them see your happiness through your freedom to go with the flow.
