Anyone have any problem with the majesty cruise line returning to Miami on time?

How far is the dock from Fort Lauderdale airport?

And finally, does the Majesty provide shampoo, soap, etc?

hello,
we were on the majesty in march. we love the cruise and ship. they do provide shampo/conditioner and i'm not sure about soap.
we always bring our own any ways.

as far as the ship returning on time, it was right on time. they have it down to a science.

time to the airport is @45-60 minutes. it will take a little time to get off the ship and retrieve you bags and clear customs, but it is really not that long.

don't over pack! you will not need as much as you think. make sure you bring a carry-on with swim attire and clothes for dinner that night just incase yoy don't get your luggage in time.
we boarded at @11:45 at lunch at the windjammer got in our room at 1:00 ant our luggage was there already. so we change in our swimsuits and enjoyed the pool area for the afternoon.

what dates are you sailing on the majesty?

We were on the Majesty December 2005 and August 2006 - There was no problems with docking times.

I will be sailing on March 12, 2007.

To ezemoney: Which airport did you go to? Fort Lauderdale or Miami? Did you use a taxi - if so, how much did it cost?

flew into miami the day before. very relaxing that way. our hotel had a shuttle to the pier for only 12.00 per room

We sailed on the Majesty in June, but flew into Miami, it took about 15 minutes to get from the airport to the port. The ship will dock on time, what takes time is waiting for your luggage once you are off the ship. Mark your luggage some how (bright ribbons, neon luggage tags, etc). There were be about 6000 pieces of luggage being loaded onto the conveyor belts, most people have dark colored luggage, they all look alike when they are going by you. If you pack light, you can take your luggage off the ship with you and you won't have the long wait (30-45 minutes). Enjoy your cruise, it's a nice ship.
