I'm sailing Aug. 30th on the Explorer. Its our 1st cruise. I have read that for a reasonable fee, the staff will wash an article of clothing if you need it. Does anyone know how much this really costs. We are starting our vacation in the Floria Keys and then getting on the boat a few days later therefore, our swim suits could get pretty dirty by afer a few days of wearing them non stop.

Just cruised the Voyager of the Seas July 13-20, 2003 and used the valet laundry service for only a few items. They charge for each item, a pair of shorts was $2.50, shirts were $2.00, not sure what a bathing suit costs. I used the service only when I had a stain or something I wanted to get cleaned right away. They do a really nice job, and it came back a little under 24 hours. But not on the last day of the cruise, I think it takes longer. For bathing suits, just wash 'em out in the sink everyday and hang them up on a hanger in your room, they should dry by the next morning. Have fun!
