Headed to Rome in early June and want to know if we should get a tour guide for the Colesseum. Every tour company pushes a guide to the Vatican Museum but no one has mentioned a guide at the Colesseum. We are probably going with a guide for the Vatican for 120 euro if for no other reason than to skip the line. If we're going to spend 2 hours there, I'd rather it be with a guide than standing in line. The tour company is suppossed to be able to get us advance tickets to the Colesseum as well. Our group is really more interested in everything other than the Vatican. Any advice?
