I really appreciate all the good information regarding Messina and have decided to rent with Argus as Hank has recommended. Can anyone tell me which location is near the cruise port - Messina-Sicily or Messina Via Panoramatica? Thank you!

Argh! I am not 100% sure, but I am pretty sure its the Messina-Sicily location. However, if might be worth a phone call to make sure that this is the location adjacent to the port. You also need to carefully check their web site on the opening times of the rental dealer. This often drives us crazy in Italy as some of the dealers will close for lunch, on weekends, etc. Depending on your point of view its either maddening or a challenge.
