Aloha,

My husband and I are taking a European cruise this fall and neither of us have been to Europe. I am incredibly excited but I have a lot of questions. I am not sure if it is worth it to reserve tours through our cruise line (Royal Caribbean), hoof it ourselves, or book tours through travel websites (ie Priceline, Travelocity).

Our itenerary takes us to Villefranche, Livorno (Florence), Cittavecchia (Rome), Naples/Capri, Palermo (Sicily) and then back to the original port of Barcelona.

Any tips on any of these ports? I have my list of things I HAVE TO SEE and I'm sure they are the obvious things. Any non-obvious things I should see? Any tips on transportation to and from the port to landmarks?

Any advice will be well appreciated! Thank you!
Kristina
