We have booked at car rental for July 30 port stop at Livorno, Italy for pickup at Calata Carrara (Europcar). I think all the companies are in the same area. Would anyone like to share a taxi ride to the pickup place? We are two so I expect the taxi could hold two more. A reply to my questions about accessibility indicated that a taxi might be the only way the port security will allow one to proceed to the area from the docks. Taxi for someone recently was 20 euro one way for about 1 mile. Maybe the ship will dock closer. There are four docking berths but I imagine we won't know which we will be in until we arrive!
