Can anyone give us suggestions on getting to the ship from the train station with our luggage. We're sailing on the Carnival Liberty Nov 3, 2006. We plan to fly into Florence, Italy several days ahead and have booked the train to the port.

Clare, You only have two options. The best would be that you can get a taxi from the station to the ship....but this really depends on a taxi being at the station and their ability to get inside the port (apparently not all taxis can enter the port area due to security). The other choice depends on your ability to walk about 4 blocks with your luggage. The port would be towards your right as you exit the front doors of the station. When you get to the port entrance there is a free shuttle bus that runs to the ships.
