You are probably going to find that most things are cheaper in the states than in Europe..even if they are made in Europe. The problem is the very weak dollar vs Euro and the very high VAT (taxes) in Europe. It is sometimes possible to get a partial refund on VAT,, but this is not always so easy. Many Europeans are now coming to the USA to do their shopping ...because we are the bargain place.
