Our family is stressed trying to decide on a tour in Rome. A deciding factor may be feedback on the underground tour of st. Clements. Hearing some opinions on its value will help us decide between the Sistine Chapel/Vaticin Museum or a inside tour of the Colosseum/St. Clemets. It will be hard to go home without seeing the Sistine Chapel but the other tour seems difficult to walk from also. HELP..family divided!!!! IS IS POSSIBLE if we did Rome on our own to see ALL? Or do the lines I hear about make it impossible?
Kmathi, if I haven't welcomed you yet, welcome to cruise chat. One of the great features of this site is the ease of use and the treasure trove of archives that you can search through. Many people have previously posted about your very dilemma. Just scroll to the top of the thread above your original post. Click on the "Find" tab. This will bring up a "Keyword Search" box that you can enter whatever you are looking for. If you enter "Rome" it will bring up over 500 previous posts so you may want to narrow it down by being more specific. Back to your question, if this is your first time to Rome, you will not want to miss the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican museums. They are breath taking!
