We are 4 people (2 couples) in the process of arranging private tours with a tour company recommended to us, "Travels with Friends." These tours will be in a private 8 passenger minibus. We're looking for one or two more couples to join us to share the cost. First private tour is out of Livorno on Thur., Nov. 1. We have arranged a custom 9 hour tour of Florence, Lucca and Pisa for 720 Euro for an 8 passenger minibus. Based on 8 people, that would be about $118. per person US dollars.

Second private tour is out of Villefranche on Fri., Nov 2. It's a 10 hour tour called "Best of the Riviera." We'll see Monaco, Monte Carlo, Eze, Nice, Cannes, Antibes and St. Paul de Vence. The cost is 650 Euro for 8 passengers, which is about $108 per person USD.

We'll see more sites for less money than the ship's tours, and again these are private tours for 8 people. The ship's tours are on buses for 40 or more people.
