Hoping to find some help/suggestions for port of call land excursions. I work with a travel group of adults with intellectual disabilities- while I've planned a ton of trip and been on a bunch of cruises this is our first to Europe on the Norweigan Jade. Any advice as to where to go in the following ports would be AMAZING! We tend to stick with the cruise ship options due to safety regardless of the prices. we're sailing 1/15. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!! In Funchal it is possible to do your own thing and it seems safe enough A lot of people go on the toboggons down the hill Not a lot else in Funchal In Casablanca I would not recommend going it alone We did a ships excursion which took in a market and other sights as well as the King Hassan mosque which is a remarkable building although we could not go in I recollect that Las Palmas had little to recommend it and is a bit away from the main resorts Perfectly safe though in my experience and it may be possible to hire a cab as an alternative to a ships tour
